Adrian Lachance has been in “C” suite positions for 40 years and managed expansion and capital deployment extensively.

Adrian Lachance founded Bear Drilling with the intention of transforming industry from mechanical to electric with automation across various oilfield applications.

​

Prior to his current role of President of Bear, Adrian was the COO at Trinidad Drilling now Ensign, Adrian was in charge of rig design and manufacturing from 1000 hp to 3600 HP. As the COO of Trinidad, he was part of the executive management that closed over $750MM of drilling rig design and contract agreements with the worlds major oil companies over a 18-year period.

Adrian's expertise has taken him around the world, drilling and building rigs for some of the biggest names in Oil and Gas. Working and building rigs in places like Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Libya, Egypt, Mexico, USA, and alike. 

Worked in the O & G industry for 29 years. Started as a floor hand and through hard-work rose to becoming an Operations Manager for one of the biggest in the industry.

With 30+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry I've held various positions in exploration and completions with my emphasis being to lead by example. My strengths include a strong
understanding of oil and gas down hole formations, strong background in mechanics of oilfield equipment and as a driller & rig manager to have a work ethic that emphasizes leading by example.

Greg has over 20 years a red seal electrician, Electrical manager at Jomax Drilling for 10 years building and servicing rigs. He has worked for Odesco Inc prior, building and installing Pipe-line E-houses for Kinder Morgan, TransCanada, Enbridge and also Rigs for National Oilwell Varco which included overseas work in Kuwait.

Ryan has 4 years’ experience as a CFO and Controller of Alberta based companies conducting business in both Canada and the US in the oil and gas industry. His experience is related to manufacturing and rental corporations. This combined experience has developed a broad knowledge base involving all financial areas, including start-ups and financing.

He has worked directly with Adrian over the last 2 years establishing and managing companies he has invested in, negotiating capex financing, forming processes and procedures, and preparation of financial reporting.

A proven executive with a track record of leading complex businesses and building teams. 25 years of energy industry experience including developing and structuring some of Canada’s largest renewable energy projects.

Structured over $5 bn of debt and equity investments while at GE Capital focusing on energy services, natural resources and renewable power.

​

Co-founded a large net-zero methanol development company.

​

Currently leading the re-positioning of several traditional energy service companies, accelerating electrification and digital integration.

Bachelor of Commerce degree and a MBA from the University of Saskatchewan

Robin is an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator with a history of working in the oil & energy industry. She is a Business Graduate and has been certified through Occupational Health & Safety training from the University of Alberta. Additionally, Robin has incredible organization skills and works as a very diligent and professional office manager.
